Dance on the DL's goal is to make sure no matter your level of experience with dancing or fitness, you leave class feeling like you just slayed and you are ready to take on whatever else the day may bring. We promise fun, funk and all the feels.
Adult Beginner Hip Hop: This class is designed to introduce the beginner dancer to the base movements and styles of Hip Hop. Class will focus on building a solid foundation to execute popular dance moves to original choreography. Every step is broken down, eventually building to a high energy, fun and engaging routine designed to build stamina and increase musicality. No previous experience necessary.
Hip Hop Funk (all levels): Hip Hop Funk’s focus is all about finding your inner groove and getting funky with it. Students will be taught choreography with a focus on feeling the music and exploring musicality. This class is all about listening to the music and feeling good.
Street Jazz (Beginner/Intermediate): Street jazz evolved from informal dancing found in nightclubs, schools and in the streets. This fun style combines modern-day dance styles, like hip hop, breakdancing, funk and electronic dance.
Hip Hop Fusion (Intermediate): This class blends Hip Hop and Street Jazz Funk. Choreography will vary from the move hard-hitting moves and techniques of hip hop to the more fluid and freeing of street jazz.
Bootycamp: This beat driven high energy class delivers a surround sound challenge to your glutes, legs and core. By utilizing a combination of strength, cardio and resistance based movements, Bootycamp will lift, sculpt and strengthen your best assets.
Total Body Tune-up: This total body strength class combines circuit training with high intensity cardio bursts to deliver a highly effective workout that delivers maximum results. This class will challenge you in the best ways possible. Combining compound strength training movements with high intensity cardio you will build muscle and increase your cardio endurance. This class is for all levels. Modifications are provided to accommodate for fitness level and/or injury.
bodyART®: Based on the principles of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements of Chinese Philosophy, bodyART® is a functional, total body workout that combines strength, flexibility, cardio and breathing. Classes consist of exercises unique to bodyART® as well movement inspired by martial arts, yoga, physical therapy and classical conditioning. The result is a familiar and transformative experience for participants of all ages and fitness levels. Awarded as ‘Best International Concept’ by ECA OBOW awards in New York City, bodyART® is being hailed as the most progressive and effective fitness modality in the world.
Cardio Dance Club (all levels): Cardio Dance Club is a dance fitness party combining a variety of rhythms and dance styles. From Latin, hip hop and jazz to pop and R&B, Cardio Dance Club delivers a little bit of everything. Class routines mix high and low intensity to provide a well-rounded, effective workout. Class format is lead follow. Songs are broken down into parts and assigned certain steps. As the song continues, sequences are repeated, making Cardio Dance Club the perfect choice for all levels. Fun and sweat guaranteed!
LADIES NIGHT: Grab your best girl friends, it's time to let your hair down, pour a glass of wine and dance the night away. Ladies Night is all about having fun and letting loose. This dance class is for all levels. Ladies Night occurs the first Friday of the month from 8 - 9:30pm in DL Studio. We hope to see you soon!
